I'm not big on writing crime, and I would completely detest "Robots" as a category. I generally don't mind science fiction, but robots turn me off for some reason. Maybe it's residual Drums trauma? Death is actually sort of overdone here as a theme, but while I'm fine with either that or romance, "Death" looks like it has a better chance of beating out that "Robots" vote count, so it gets my vote.

Wouldn't a Romance story just degenerate into death, crime and robots anyway?

I'd almost be curious to see just exactly how creepy drums would get if he were still around to write about "Hawt adult human on child robot ack'chun." Though he never was that good of a writer in the first place.

Anyway as much as I'm into the whole Death thing, I've already written 2 big stories on the subject, and Falcon's Return was sort of in that area as well.

Yeah...but how many voters are left? And, personally- I'd rather have anything but Death.

We really don't have much in the way of Romance, do we? Mine's arguably the best one, and it's not very romantic or even remotely passable as a story.

I think I need to do another Romance Story.

And I think I'm going to have the protagonist be a strong black woman who's trying to save her submissive white girlfriend from Neo-Nazis who have captured her, because the protagonist has interfered with their drug trade for the last time.

I'm wondering if I should I start off with a hardcore sex scene right from the beginning or wait at least until the 2nd or 3rd page.

If I get this one off the ground, I think it's going to be my "offensive story" for this year, so it won't be a long story.

EDIT: Damn, that’s a great title. I’m going to call the protagonist Nightshade! If nothing else it’s going to have cool names!

I have to go through with this! I mean how many stories on here have a black lesbian protagonist? None!
