View Full Version : Bizzare Dream I Had

Honestly, this is true.
I had a strange dream that I visited these neighbors I never knew I had. They were a family, the mother being an extreme feminist, the father being a drunken pyromaniac... most of their kids were pretty uninteresting but then one of their children was severely retarded. He seemed to have down-syndrome but to an even greater degree. He kept lumbering around smashing things and saying nonsense and then disappearing into the computer room. At the end of the dream I found out this super-downers name was Drums.
This is honestly the dream I just had before waking up. I of course had many others... but I figured everyone would find this dream to be most comical.

Very interesting... I think dreams are a reflection of inner self. So I wonder what it is about you that made you dream about Drums. Let's analyze...

From what I've read and heard dreams are just your brain sorting through the events that have taken place in the last 48 hours. I hope that is the case or else I have some very intense mental issues.

You know, there's a story in this.

Anyone ever get those dreams where the real world starts seeping into your dream?
I remember there was this mini tornado trying to drag me into the air and I was holding on to a tree with one arm and then I woke up and realized the fan was blowing directly on me and my arms were all stretched out.
There's also the matter of sleeping with the TV on and then events start occurring or the characters in the dream starting to talk about whatever is happening on TV. Had that happen several times.
"Oh the news is on, no wonder I was suddenly transported to a desert in Iraq."

I get thsoe sometimes as well. Frequently my alarm clock will become some awful sound in the dream, like somemone shrieking, a horn beeping, or something of the like.
I had a dream once where I was a toboggan being over-sanded.... and I realized the oversanding was me realizing that I was oversleeping...

I’ve found that my dreams can switch “cameras” a lot within the same one.
First person mode, third person mode and “observer” which consists of you not even being in the dream and you’re basically watching a movie in your head as events play out.
I don’t think I’ve ever made a story out of any of my dreams though, they're too random for the most part so they wouldn’t really make for a structured one.

Most of my dreams wouldn't be safe to share outside the pages of Penthouse Forums. Sadly, that kind of dream is so common I actually have been bored of them for so many years I don't even think about dreams any more, except on the rare occasion that I have ANY other kind of dream (even a mundane one). When I have a dream about work, or going to the store, or eating dinner, or watching TV, THAT is when I get all analyze crazy about my dreams. Most of the time I just ignore the girls volleyball team practicing next door that needed a place to shower or similar dreams.

Oh gosh, last night I had these dream that I was about to hook up with this very attractive girl I know, but she has been with a lot of guys so I insisted on wearing a condom even though she was on birth control. Everytime I opened a condom package something irrelevant would fall out... like a piece of string, a small toy, or some other random small object. She grew impatient but I would not do it without one, and after opening 20 packages and not finding an actual condom she grew bored and left. I was very pissed at myself for losing the opportunity but at the same time I didn't think the risk was worth it otherwise... then I woke up.

I dream of zombies.
Usually these dreams are amusing, and I am in a comfy place safe from the zombies watching the rest of the world collapse, but sometimes they almost get me. I've noticed that I have these zombie dreams most if I feel betrayed by people around me.
I only rarely have sex dreams, and when I do they are twisted- and don't involve zombies. Generally my sex dreams are you know... weird borderline incestuous to sex in church... they are always very kinky and when I wake up I always feel dirty and ashamed.
But mostly, I dream of zombies... not that you asked.

I rarely if ever have any sort of sex type dream, had quite of few where I’ve been killed though or severely wounded in some way…
Suffocated by a plastic bag over the head from some day walking vampire chick. Woke up before I “died”. I was about 5 or 6 when I had that dream.
Head ripped off by a blue Cyclops that was apparently living in my house. Everything went black then I was back in the living room where upon I left the house.
Stabbed in the throat with a pen knife by an evil doppelganger of my Dad. Everything went black, then red and there was a “countdown screen” 3, 2, 1 and then I woke up.
Nuked while I was trying to get to shelter. (Had some zombies in it before the blast too actually) Woke up just before the blast though
Ripped apart by an evil doppelganger of my Mom, who had burst out of some room screaming at me. I like how my Dad was also there and didn’t try to help me! Lol. Woke up before I died though.
Blasted with a shotgun by some escaping robbers. Didn’t die, but I wasn’t moving too far since I was practically in two pieces.
Riddled with bullets by some Muslim fundies. Blown off limbs were replaced with fully functional crash test dummy/legoesque ones.
Just to name a few, but none of those really bothered me though.
I used to have ongoing dreams since high school of failing classes or finding out it was the end of the semester and I had this class I hadn’t been going to, or whatever. Usually these are consist of some sort of weird combo of people I used to go to school with from all grades. I’d see people from college right along people from middle school together.
Those ones would probably be more equivalent to my “nightmares” since a few of them didn’t have over the top elements and I’d wake up wondering if I was REALLY failing a class or something.
Dying’s fine, but failure is not an option!
Though like Drag with his girls playing volley ball, those school dreams got so common place that I stopped paying attention to them and eventually they disappeared.

That would be nice. I wish they would disappear (or at least become infrequent and special when they do happen), but after close to twenty years I have given up on that happening. My twisted mind and overactive libido doesn't seem to allow them to stop. Even when I am involved with somebody they continue to go on and on... in fact they seem even more frequent at those times, as if they suddenly have more fuel to burn.
I should become a porn director/writer and use all the stupid events and stories that I see though. At least then they would come to some use and make me some cash. But I really don't have a desire to do that. I want to write games and novels that people would actually like and respect.

Here’s another freaky dream I had when I was around 5 or 6.
I don’t even remember most of it, just the ending.
This was sort of one of those “dreams within a dream” except I wasn’t in it at all. I was in observer mode. I think this one reminded me the most of watching a “movie”.
This little girl was in this bed that was surrounded in a completely dark area. Like a stage with an overhead light shining down only lighting the bed and some of the floor.
Anyway she wakes up from some bad dream and cries a bit, but all of a sudden she turns her head to the “camera” and has these sharp fangs and sinisterly smiling.
The camera pans down a little, showing a dog looking up at the bed, almost with a worried looking expression, then it too does the same thing the little girl does.
The camera pans down completely to the floor, which has a little puppy in a box. Same thing happens. Looks worried at first then turns into some sort of vampire creature.
Okay, now the dream goes black and then it goes into morning. The little girl’s mom is calling her down for breakfast and she says okay and tells her dogs to go downstairs.
As the little girl is heading into the bathroom to brush her teeth, the Mom suddenly screams from downstairs and there’s some dogs barking and growling, implying that they’ve attacked her and started ripping her apart.
Then as this is happening, the little girl looks into the camera again and smiles showing her teeth again and then at the bottom of the “screen” it said “To be continued” in white lettering.
Then I woke up.
The dream has never continued though. I’ve sometimes wondered if it ever did, if it would pick up where it left off, or if she would be all grown up now.

Hahaha! If this game of jib-jab goes on much longer, I'm gonna have to find myself a more comfortable seat with some popcorn and a soda.
But getting back to dreams...sometimes it actually helps for me to focus on the idea of dreams as I'm falling asleep and then...voila!...vivid dreams. However I'm often disappointed in my dreams. Considering my enjoyment of all things abstract and non-linear in my waking hours, it is frustrating that most of my more memorable dreams are highly plot-driven and play out like Hollywood action flicks. In a recent one, I was on a chutes-and-ladders styled quest with some old friends searching for treasure in an abandoned mansion. There was absolutely nothing smutty, twisted, complex or even intriguing about it. I flagellated myself a little the next morning for it, with oak branches.

Mmmm yes Drag, I did meet Ves in person. I kind of have this habit of meeting girls... in person. You wouldn't know anything about that though...;)

I don't remember many of my dreams, which is kinda saddening. I just remember bits and pieces. Lately, my dreams apparently have been involving me putting off loads of schoolwork, and then having them all due at once, because quite often these few weeks I'm waking up with a lurching feeling in my stomach, a desire to get it done now before I get screwed, and then I realize it's summer, and I haven't had math homework in quite some time, let alone other projects.
That's a hell of a sentence, but it's late, and I ain't touchin' it. I'm tired and lazy right now. ^_^ Moment of a lifetime, folks.
I just remember snippets...most of my dreams are everyday life, with bits of randomness thrown in...or sometimes not...
One time, I was at camp, but the campsite wasn't close to the area with all of the activities. So, to get there, we would step into the toilet, and press down the triangular handle below the normal one. Then we'd be whisked away, sorta like that scene in HP7, btw. But, my buddy (Scouting is big on the buddy system) forgot his canteen, so we go back. After leaving camp again, he gets stuck. There he is, in a toilet bowl up to his waist, jiggling the handle.
I walk out of a...house?, and I pass by a few of my mother's friends. When I walk by again, one of them is now a piece of french toast. Still responds in the same way, and acts as though she's always been like that.
My entire band got off the bus and into the hospitality room at a competition/festival in Newton. The room's interior is steel and bars, and the door seals behind us. Everyone gets gassed and passes out, except for me and a random flute. We amuse ourselves with the gameboys, walkmen, ect. of our unconscious classmates.
I'm in P.E. Health, and they re-pass out the mid-term, because it was graded incorrectly. I gained 7% from the previous score. Class is dismissed, and school's out. I stop by English to pick up the homework I'd missed, and note that my teacher has rearranged the desks. As I'm leaving, I note that one of the brackets on my braces has come loose. (That was interesting when I woke up. Kept checking my mouth periodically throughout the day, the dream had been so vivid. Damn, I'm glad I don't have those anymore.)
My English class takes a mandatory field-trip to experience roughing-it camping ala Hatchet (Hadn't read in years). But, the isolated island we're on is across the highway from a Quick Trip, and we all keep sneaking over.

I thought one of you was going to do that routine about dreaming about eating a giant marshmallow and then when you woke up your pillow was gone.
How about those "prophetic dreams" where you experience something in real life and you could've sworn you dreamed about it before it happened. Ever get that feeling?

I've had that feeling before, but actually my dad has dreams that are prophetic and in detail. He has dreamt of death to wake and discover one of his uncles passed away. He has had dreams of various random conversations, then he receives a phone call and discovers that he is meant to have that conversation. He once had a dream of a three car garage with two stories, and driving out in the country one day he discovered said garage. He went back to verify that everything in it was as it had been in his dream. It creeps him out.
But back to weird dreams...
Five year old me living with my grandparents looks out the glass door into the backyard. People on horse back are riding round and around the house. Specifically these people are cowboys and indians chasing one another, with tomahawks and guns.
No one else seems to see them but me, and when I ask them to look, they refuse. As if looking at these people is an unpardonable crime... I didn't understand and kept looking.
Suddenly a group of them comes walking toward the door- they know I've been watching. I run, through the house to the back room and hide behind a chair. My grandfather is brushing my older cousin's hair for church. I hide behind a different chair and hear them coming through the house.
They want me. I know they'll kill me, and I'm so scared. They go in my dad's room and threaten to scalp him if I don't come out. Bravely I stand up and walk toward my death.... then I wake up.
I also have a cool dream about a weird little alien- demon thing... when I woke up I thought it was true... I think it was true in fact, just in a different plane of existence... or something.

Survived the week, despite the weird dream I had last Sunday.
Had a weird dream that I was wandering around in this suburb that was just about empty. I was going into all these houses but they were all mostly devoid of people despite being completely furnished. Not sure what I was exactly trying to accomplish, but I was doing a lot of wandering.
Anyway, I wound up in a house with a similar lay out to mine and I ran into this tall figure with black robe and pale inhuman face. It said that my time on this earth was coming to an end and said most likely by tomorrow I’d be dead. Wednesday at the latest.
It mentioned that I’d done all I needed to do here and I was needed elsewhere. So I was scheduled to die.
Since it didn’t appear that I was going to be able to do anything about this, I asked if there was anyway to make it quick and painless and it said that that was not a problem, then it walked out the door and I woke up shortly afterwards.

As I was falling asleep the other night, I had one of those strange half lucid dreams about my ex-boyfriend. I'd barely given any thought to him for years but suddenly he was all I could think about. I drifted off in the midst of an intensely sexual fantasy. The next day, I found out he was dead.
So End, be careful with your dreams. You never know when a prophetic one will come along and get you all shook up.
