Ground Zero is currently the number one story over at CYS. I have crushed all opposition there and claimed the territory for the Infinite Empire!

I'm not too surprised. I saw few good stories when I glanced over the site, but none that compare for quality or length. Though they ARE a gaming site - maybe GZ will inspire some change? I hope the effort to put it up there was worth it.

Great job End. I'm considering doing some work over there since I can't work with variables here and Sev's recent apparent absence has been frustrating me as well.

I think I could do Escape Artist justice over there.

I mentioned us on writingforums.com and told them about the challenges that this form of writing has; such as multi-layered storylines and alternate endings. Don't know if anyone will check this place out or not, but there are some good writers on there.

It's a real honor over there to hit the top spot - you'll find you fluctuate in and out pretty regularly. Congrats. So... when do we get an Endmaster original?

Bah, treachery. I expected as much.

Resist if you must, but more troops are coming. I need the CYS resources so I can invade CHYOO2 eventually.

An End Master "original" might be awhile. The next big story I want to do is "Primal" and I'll be writing it over here first.

I think when I do an original story over at CYS I would probably make more use of the variable/stat system. I think something similar to Legend would work or maybe a "game" version of Ground Zero.

End, you know you have me as your loyal footsoldier whenever you feel the need to destroy something over at CYS. I'm not sure why I've got so much energy on them, but as the old saying goes, "Everybody needs somebody to hate."

Over here, most of the time people just disappear without a trace and then just suddenly pop up again 2 years later.

I think Yazzman was about the closest to posting a "leaving forever" message. He said the forums were too addictive and ruining his life or something. Though he's been known to still lurk and post every once in a blue moon.

You know how they had you dress up in kindergarten as policemen and firemen and astronauts and doctors? Sadly, you are much more likely to become a pencilpusher, bureaucrat, professional douchebag or down-and-out bum.

Any of these jobs will make you desperate to fill the black void in your heart, so you will resort to alcohol, food and pills for comfort. City Hall employees LIVE for their lunch/smoke/bathroom breaks!

You will reminisce sadly about your childhood, that happy time just before you realized that daddy was an alcoholic or mommy was screwing a stranger, or maybe mommy was screwing said stranger while daddy taped it and kept the evidence in his unlocked desk drawer. Lickety split, what a load o' shit!

As you drive home in your gas guzzler, stopping off at Mickey D's to whet your appetite for your microwave dinner, you'll say to yourself, "Well I'll be fucked sideways with a 2x4 if my motherfucking life don't suck shitballs on a crap kebab, goddamn motherfucking shit."

Then you'll remember this forum and wonder how you were ever such a weenie. Back in that innocent, forever-gone era of sweet, sunny childhood...
