That's right. I won Nanowrimo. Just crossed the finish line. 50,000 words, (actually, 50,685 as it stands right now).

My novel is far from over, so I guess I'll just keep working on it. Hurray for me!

And here are the stats (as of right now):

112 pages (size 12 font, single spaced)
50,685 words
281466 characters
1271 paragraphs
5073 lines

I gave up at about 26K. Congrats apoth, nice job sticking to it.

In the accepted standards of writer's guides you don't count font and spacing when determining page count, as they change everything depending on what you use there. The standard is actually accepted to be about 250 words per page. This means you are actually at about 203 pages. Just an industry standard note there for you.

Good job, though.

Thanks for the info Dragavan. Now I can tell everyone I have a 203 page story. Sweet. I think I'll keep working on it though, I doubt I could ever publish this thing, but even still, after I finish it and go through some major revisions, it will certainly be ready to be posted online.

Though, it will be hard to beat HOID's 277,321 and counting words.
