I don't wanna see any of your ugly mugs, so I came up with a better idea. Just think of how much you can tell about a person from the appearance of their: NIGHTSTAND! That's right. Now accepting all pictures of nightstands, bureaus, what have you.

Somehow I doubt if the drawer is left open like that usually. It was probably intentionally left slightly ajar to display the condoms for the picture to get a fantastic effect.
The Vodka bottle was probably originally on the floor along with some other bottles and also placed on the stand for the picture.
Everything else looks about right. The purple crayon seems odd though.
Is that a picture of the Virgin Mary?

You're right. The drawer is not left open usually (unless I'm in an awfully big hurry and get sloppy about concealing things).
In all truth, the vodka bottle does live on the top of my nightstand. It used to be under my desk, where I would take occasional swigs while on the computer late at night. However, I moved it to the top of my nightstand when the real estate agent brought some people I didn't like into my house. You know, the importance of first impressions...
You never know when you might need a purple crayon.
The print is from a Renaissance painting called "The Penitent Magdalene", which is on display at the Met in New York. Read into that what you will.

My night stand serves as nothing more than a holder for my retainer, a box of tissues... and bank statements.....
Don't have a camera though.

Mine has a broken phone (it wouldn't charge, so I put tin foil in it as a bridge for the charger and the battery. Now I pulled out the charger and putting it back in shorts), a large jawbreaker I licked from a sphere into a bowl (took a week and a couple days and my tongue started bleeding), an empty mountain dew can I didn't drink, a full bag of M&M mini-bags I have not looked at since Halloween, a stack of blank DVDs I bought to get the 128MB flashdrive that came with it (the smallest flash drive I could find!), a stack of CDs/DVDs I have burned and bought, a small cardboard box with nothing in it but crumpled paper and a mug I have not used, a computer with the screen turned off and the 24 inch computer screen I am working on right now.
There are two dead batteries, a woofer I like to use for my alarm clock and that my roommate hasn't complained about yet, a penny, a green colored pencil, a washcloth, an ice cube tray, a mechanical pencil without a head (I can still use it if I feed it manually). I keep a flashlight on my desk for when I get up in the morning. I use it to walk around the room while my roommate is sleeping.

I have neither a proper nightstand nor a camera. My nightstand is a packing carton of adequate size with brown paper wrapped around it.

No nightstand. The closest I come is this desk my monitor's sitting on, and it's two rooms from where I sleep. It's a fairly wide desk, though not wide enough to put in a no-kidding office. It holds a lamp, my monitor, keyboard and wireless mouse, a stein with some pencils and pens inside, a book of poetry by Robert Frost, some seashells from long-ago happy days spent at the beach, and a bit of clutter.
I also seem to accumulate quite a few items of less immediate use beneath the shelves atop my dressers. They include an hourglass, a multitude of books, a piece of coral, a sculpture of a pod of dolphins, an aromatic wooden box that once held ten Partagas 160 cigars (I indulge myself in one perhaps twice a month, or on special occasions), a set of jade dominos, a rose petal, several whelk shells, a small replica of the lighthouse at Sanibel Island, some exceptional photographs, a Pulsar wristwatch, and a squadron coin from Korea that was my father's, as well as some miscellaneous clutter.

Why do I feel dirty? I'm gonna post pictures of my penis on MySpace now...
That'll take the edge off.

Chubby, I just wanna thank you for being the ONLY FUCKING ONE man enough to actually post a picture. What's the matter with the rest of you? You don't want everyone to see all your "used" kleenexes strewn everywhere? Or maybe your Ninja Turtle figurines? Hahahaha. That "Handbook for Writers" I couldn't quite see, so at first I thought it said, "Handbook for Wieners", but I decided that the graphic on the front was entirely too serious so my vision probably just sucks.
Hey, look at that. Chubby and I have the same toothbrush. Well, I mean, not the exact same toothbrush. We live in different states, so it'd be kind of silly to airmail each other the same toothbrush every single day...not to mention damn expensive...not to mention unsanitary...
What's that stand in the foreground?

A weight lifting bench that I never use.
The actual 'nightstand' is actually an entertainment center from the fifties. Wait a minute, I'll take another picture and show you all. It's pretty cool. Hang on...

Wow, that is the coolest thing ever. Think I could go in your room and have a look for myself, ChubChub?

Sure, as long as you bring along the vodka and leave behind the condoms.:D

Yes, the walls look ghastly and I really don't have a digital camera and my mobile is a very basic model.

Grey would look good. The apartment above ours has faulty plumbing. Stupid seepage is destroying the walls. We're having the house repainted and they did my room two days ago, re-plastered it and everything. And it's back to the way it was with streams of seeping water spread out all over the walls.

Great view. Since no one is really posting pictures of their nightstand here, I guess I'll upload some pics I took during summer. As soon as I'm done uploading...
