Yeah... it's pretty sweet. It's got a really big screen.

Now, I need some advice.

Should I bring my laptop and desktop to college? Or just my laptop?

The reason I would want my desktop is that I have very big hands and the keyboard on this laptop is fairly small, also, my desktop has some really nice speakers and a subwoofer... though I could get a wireless keyboard and then just hook up external speakers and such to the laptop.

What does everyone here suggest?

I would suggest just bringing the laptop with the necessary adjustments for your behemoth hands. If the desks at your school are anything like the ones at mine, then a desktop will eat up the whole thing and you won't have any space left for the requisite random assortment of beer cans, rotting cafeteria food, condoms and overdue homework assignments.

Okay, yeah it is looking like that is what I'm going to do. Though, empty beer cans and spilled beer are a pet peeve of mine so I don't need to worry about cans. I will always back and dispose of any empty containers so it doesn't leave a sticky smelly mess....

Though rotting food and condoms are definitely going to need some desk space.

Speaking from someone who's currently using a Desktop in a school dormatory- for the love of God, bring the Laptop if you have it. Not necessarily because of space, either. (It's true, though. If you're prone to cluttering your desk, the only surface space you'd have left is the top of your printer.)

If you have a whiny roommate who is both a light sleeper and insists on going to bed freakishly early for his morning class, you won't be able to use your computer for that three-four hour time frame of late, late night. Which can be rather annoying, especially if the night time is the only time you have available for certain assignments. Campus computers are not ideal. But if you had a laptop? Move it out of the room, and Taa-Daa! Instant gaining of late night free time.
