I'm not really new to IS myself but i have been lurking around a lot before i actually joined(and or i read a lot:o) but i want to help this site grow and thats why i am going to put a link onto my myspace.

Also if anybody wants to see my work Type in on the google bar "The Three destiny choices" or "The darkness rising" with Infinite story.com and it will bring the story up or a room in the story

I will take a look at them and try to add a few rooms. I just finished writing Genesis so ,so if you have some time you should read that and rate it. I have not written a story for the site in a long time and now im working on three lol. I guess writing depends on the mood your in.

Welcome, though we have already talked. It is good to hear that people are promoting the site. It's activity ranges from little to none most of the time.

Also, Wolfin has contributed over 1% of the rooms in Hall of Infinite Doors. You should all take a lesson from him.

So it's better as a list of random, pointless nonsense rooms? I was never saying the story should end the Hallway, just that there should be one somewhere in there while the endlessness was still ongoing. The nonsense always got to me, but to each his own.

Well, to me, the hallway is one, giant main menu. You don't put plot into a menu. Details, sure- but no plot. That's why I found Calen's additions to be maddening. Especially the ones that would affect the state of the character when they entered a door.

Though I say this as though it isn't up to Apoth, in the end. XD

Speaking of that, I spoke to some of our "erotica oriented CYOAers" recently over at CHYOO2. A couple of them were checking out the site. Last year I had the idea of trying to get a few of them to come here to participate in our porn story contest, but due to computer/internet gremlins the registration wouldn't let me onto their forums so I never got through.

For a sex oriented site, it's interesting that they actually have a few rules about what's frowned upon and can be marked for deletion, like glorification of rape/torture/violence, pedophilia, and bestiality (Didn't see anything about necrophilia though).

I dare say a few stories (Or a few rooms in certain stories) on Infinite wouldn't be allowed on there.

You almost got it right, it's just "Choose Your Own Orgasm 2". From what I can tell they've been waiting for an upgrade to "CHYOO3" since 2006.

It would seem CYOA Admins everywhere have a habit of disappearing.
