I'm heading down to NYC and will not have internet access for six days. I know you will all miss me terribly, not sure what will happen to this place without me. Perhaps you will all get a chance to catch up in posts and awesomeness... though I doubt it.

Visited the Bodies Exhibition (totally awesome)
Visited a plethora of book stores, including the massive four story barnes and noble and the Strand which had 18 miles of used books.
Walked up and down almost the entirety of Manhattan sampling foods at various establishments along the way, including Chinatown and Little Italy.

The Bodies Exhibition!

Did they have the diseased organs displays? They had those at the one I went to.

I was amazed at how they managed to separate the veins and arteries from the rest of the body with such skill and precision.

Yeah it was incredible. The diseased organs were my favorite part. They had a uterus with teeth and hair growing inside of it. I liked the dead babies to. Those were fun. And the nervous system and circulatory systems were wild. I totally geeked out and had flashbacks to biology. It is definitely an exhibit I suggest everyone go see.

Yeah the uterus thing was freaky. I'd never heard of that condition before.

Supposedly it is fairly common, they just usually catch it pretty early before actual teeth and hair grow.
