Hi, I'm Katie, I'd like to introduce myself to all the nice friendly people in this shiny new forum.

I am a relatively uninteresting person, but I am trying to correct this sad fact with ten easy steps:

1. Learning to play guitar. Everyone likes a musician right? I have a sweet Hummingbird Epiphone that wants to grow up to be a Gibson.

2. Completing my education. I kan't do much wit what I haf, so I gonna go lern at the big communite collage. I ought to graduyate in tha spring.

3. Art projects. I love drawing, so I am trying to discipline myself to do more of it so I can start selling my brilliant works again.

4. Learning to do web design. I want to figure out that new fangled contraption known by the younguns as the internet.

5. Buying prettier shoes. I totally just bought the cutest pair of ballet flats with the sweetest little birdie on it.

6. Continuing to proudly use my now outdated iBook. And admiring at a distance all other Mac products, because they are soo pretty, and soo expensive.

7. Reading more books. I just finished the Harry Potter book, and he... hah... I won't tell you. I also like other young adult novels, Twilight, Lightning Thief, and Nobody's Princess. I read some of Obama's the Audacity of Hope, and I've read Theory of Justice which was soo good. I don't generally like dead people books, though I do enjoy Mark Twain quotes.

8. Aerobics: I'm pretty sure the port-o-potty squat is pretty erotic.

9. Challenging myself mentally with games. I LOVE games!!!

10. Writing!!!! Writing!!! Writing!!!

So maybe those 10 things won't make me the coolest kid on the block, but they do make me a pretty happy chick... To be honest I just wanted to see if I could post a new thread and boost my post count.

Now I can't wait to see if anyone reads all of this. Hah.

May I ask why you chose the name "Hi! My name is: Katie" for the forums? It seems rather odd and hard to say out loud every time we'd want to talk to you. And you'd have to introduce yourself with, "Hi, my name is Hi! My name is: Katie, pleased to meet you." Yeah, it reminds me of what Prince did with the whole symbol thing and calling himself TAFKAP.

I'm not a fan of the maximum of 10 posts per page. That seems kind of lame. It would make more sense to have 15 or 20 posts per page otherwise I'm going to have to do a lot of page flipping to catch up on any threads that grow out of control (as they had a tendency to do in the old forum.... awww I miss that one...)

Either way, it's not really a positive. Although some of your recent actions (post wise and that video) do happen to show that you enjoy and take pride in that being as ass thing. I have been relatively quite and polite about it, but I really think you have a problem that you seem to take sick pleasure in the destroying of others happiness. It's one thing to experience Schadenfreude, but do actually attempt to cause anger, stress, and pain in others for your own pleasure is just sick and wrong. The fact that you ended up being wrong about the spoilers, doesn't excuse the fact that you didn't know it when you tried to ruin other peoples happy experiences for your own amusement.

Before I used to find you to be an occasionally amusing annoyance who posted way too much on the forums (most being advertisements for your story), but otherwise had no real issue with you. The change over recent weeks/months into a seemingly angry destructive asshole who likes to cause pain and stress in others has made me lose what little respect I may have had for you. I won't really say much more about it, as that is not my way, but you have dropped down onto that list that Michael still holds the very bottom (top?) spot on. Chubby used to be on it too, but he actually redeemed himself before he went and disappeared again and now I miss him. Michael really has no hope of ever leaving the list, or even his spot on it.

I just videotaped the whole thing Drag, wasn't even my idea. I just wanted to document it and see what would happen as a social experiment. As for your original complaint here... there isn't a set limit of posts per page. You can choose how many. Go to your User Control Panel (User CP at the top) and select "Edit Options". You can choose from a list of limits you want, from 5 to 40. I use 40 myself and it works great. large strings of posts on one page.

Thanks, sorry, that was my own ignorance. I'll claim that. I thought it was something controlled only be the administrator. Other forums I am familiar with have it set so that a user cannot control it. Good thing to know.
