What, is your story going to have that detailed of a map? What exactly did you have in mind, something like Visual Epic?

I might work on the story while your figure out the map stuff since you might change your mind and have to alter the map anyway.

Just remember, any images you post on here can only be 350x350. (JPG or GIF) So no gargantuan maps unless you’re going to host your own images within the story, but really oversized ones might screw up the page.

As for prizes, there are no prizes. We just have a contest once every year so we don’t get too lazy and actually put out a story once a year, and even then many of us falter and fail to produce anything. (Except me and DEP because we like rule or something.)

Basically its one of those things that you enter just for the fun of it or you happened to have good idea for it.

The “winner” of these contests gets to choose the subject of the next contest. Though normally it’s still discussed several months in advance and put to a vote most of the time.

Essentially. Room=However much text you feel like putting into one screen. Sometimes when people have a really long room, they break it up by putting a single, linear option somewhere in the middle and then continuing on the next page. This is a good way to buy yourself more "rooms" if you're writing something that is highly labor-intensive. It should not be used to divide two paragraphs, however.
