I was going to just message this one to EndMaster, but then I thought about how much of a sick and twisted group this site has.

You've killed him/her. What do you do with the body?

I may be missing the main focus of yet another contest again which will undoubtedly result in a loss, but I can't help it. I'm not in control anymore. I MUST complete this story.

I wonder if it'll get marked for deletion?

Long as you're just "getting rid of the body" you should be fine. A murder spree is a no, but the aftermath of the murderspree is OK. Oh, and as long as there is no profanity.

Hope it doesn't get deleted!

Finished. I'll probably submit it in a few days.

But no, there's no murder spree and no profanity. It's all taking place after the killing.

The only main "problem" is probably going to be similar to the Insomnia contest where I tended to focus on the character's thoughts rather than the actual insomnia.

Somewhat of a similar problem here since I write some stuff about what's going through the character's mind as he's getting rid of the body because just writing about "getting rid of the body" was a little boring to me. I have to write about the character too.

Also this is the Halloween season, so I went a little over the top.

But no there isn't any necrophilia either. I only had a 900 word limit. Ha ha.

It's creepy enough without it though.

Did anyone else enter this? I know EndMaster and myself did, I was curious as to whether anyone else managed to spit out 800 words or so. The stories are being judged now, read and rate them if you like. It's interesting to see the different takes on the theme.

They have a new one called Gas Station Scene; anything you want, just make it happen at a gas station.

I'd like to say congrats to DEP who managed to get 9th place out 18 and got a “judges choice” star.

I think you had a solid reply, thouh. I agree with you, the contest description invited dark and sadistic stories, I don't see why they would have expected not to encounter at least one.
