      Here's an example. When there was more activity here (and on the old forums), we had a mini-contest once every couple weeks (1-2 pg scene/story) or an add-on thing like I just linked.

        Yes, this. A ficlet is a short piece of fiction, specifically containing betwee 64- and 1,024 characters (not words, characters). More information in recently opened thread.
