Odd, I always thought JJJ was pretty lenient on what he let slide over there. I know he deleted that spammer posting as Hitler recently, but that's about it.

But yeah you can say anything you like here, you just won't get much of a reaction most of the time. Disemboweling a kid and inserting a unicorn horn up his ass would probably cause a stir on some forums, but around here, it's just Wednesday.

Ves is right though, its been pretty quiet here lately. If you're lucky Chubby might've killed his meth dealer and he'll tell us all about it. In the meantime you can probably find something to amuse yourself with in the old threads. Its too bad we don't have the original old forums as well, but those antics now only live on in memory.

There's still just a little of it out there. I think most of the actual threads are gone for good. Seems like it was usually a layer too deep for the archive bot to bother with or something. You can see the old look/directory here:

Here's where we decided not to throw a few bucks at Sev so we could hold onto it. Of course, I'd just arrived and only had a few posts on the old version.

But everything on the current forum is archived on site at least. This archive seems to reflect the most recent edit (I just edited an old post, and it updated instantly), but maybe there's another layer of redundancy stashed somewhere, or a way to view older "versions" of a given page using this one. It would explain how Ves's posts reappeared.

Even I only have so much time for this stuff. It's quite possible there's something out there I overlooked. In particular, if there's another (comprehensive) internet archive service besides archive.org, I don't know of it.



EDIT: I just read an old (MUD - is that the right term?) involving a juggalo, an emo, a furry, and an elevator. Also discovered a Youtube video of a professional eater versus a bear. All this stuff is pretty much new to me (at least, I don't remember any of it yet). Totally worth it.

Sev locked down some of the forums mainly because Michael was being a fucktard and derailing threads in the bug/admin section with his nonsense AND then he was trying to be some sort of "rebel leader" claiming that he donated to the site and he was entitled to shit or something.

Not sure what he thought he was going to lead, but it sure as hell wasn't any of us. Sev nearly banned him.

3J is pretty lenient but I don't thing he would tolerate something like anally raping someone with a unicorn horn just because they made fun of a TV show. I've actually nominated a couple people for banning over there but it was mostly because they were pissing me off. I actually wouldn't mind it so much though if they were at least intelligent enough to make a proper comeback.
