You can create placeholders with default values that let's readers customize their story. Think Mad Libs...
First, create your placeholders in the Placeholders admin linked in your story menu - please note there is an Edit Placeholders (for the reader) and a Placeholders admin link below.
Names can only be letters. Description and default value are required.
You use a placeholder bbcode in your story wherever you like. Examples:
My name is [placeholder=name]. I like to drive my [placeholder=car]. I defend myself with my [placeholder=weapon].
Users can then Edit their placeholders from the menu. Users do not need to be signed in to customize their story with placeholders. These values are saved in the browser so changing to a different computer or browser will lose any configuration.
