  • Ves, you need to watch war horse

Even endmaster needs to watch it.

As an ardent student of histiry this film gets all the little details right.

Well done spielberg. I wish this film was rated r but I'm so amazed. This is a film that anyone should see. Been a long time since I could say this. This the best flick of spielbergs I've ever seen.

This is his best work ever. It just is.

    • But I guess expecting a real, human response is too much to ask. Have fun with your cabin in the woods and your human centipedes. Brilliant movies for cowards. For those of us who actually take our frustration like men we don't need such movies. They bore us. I live It.

Ouch. That stung, Chubby. You know I'm your go-to gal for real, human responses. But I can't pass up a funny when I see one, or even a semi-funny, or even a not-at-all-funny-but-I-just-really-need-to-laugh-at-SOMETHING-funny.

If it makes you feel better, Chubbs, I will put War Horse on my watch list. I take your advice in movies more seriously than most others'.

There, are we still friends? I'm a human. I think.

          You better tear up.

Or don't. You evil cunt. Or don't.

          See you in hell.

          Of course were still friends!!!!

You evil piece of backtabbing shit. Teehee.

Sorry, ves. Not really. Sorry enough tho.

          • Saw V for Vendetta and Watchmen finally. Both great movies. V had moments where I wasn't so convinced that it was as great, but it was a mostly good movie.

Also watched The Town last night, it was better than I expected it to be.

I mean, they were no War Horse, mind you; but they were good. By the way, it's good to see the horse from Mr. Hands getting into a more serious role.

Anyway I'll go see War Horse when I get around to it, I'm supposed to go watch a bunch of roller derby girls beat the hell out of each other tomorrow.

                • Shut up, end.

                  Shut up.

You better shut the fuck up, both you guys. Dep, end, you think you're so cool. Well fuck you. You are NOT cool!

I will fuck you both up the ass. Not cause I like it or you like it. Just cause.

How many times can I say "well done", though?? A lot obviously. Anyway, obviously I was high as well. It IS a good flick if only for the glorious british calvary charge..

I will fuck both you guys up the ass though.

Maybe I need to quit hanging with fags....

                  • Seriously. I will fuck you guys up the ass. if you want. You guys both live in the rust belt, I have tracking devices already installed. To keep it consistent I could bring along a decent 8mm camera.

We could make it so sexy. I would fuck dep, while he sucks off end. Then pull out right before I cum and point my member at end, who just pulled his cock out of dep's amazing mouth and is on his knees.

End would accept my load into his wide open mouth. Then he would jerk off his own dick into my mouth. Dep, feeling left out would then jerk his own dick off and come on both of us.

                    Then its group hug time.

Ya, fuckers. I live it. Mmmmmmm, I live it.

                    • Stay tuned though, end. I may still kill a "man" or two or three or four. Ill post pics.

Not gonna fuck them up the ass though. Their loss. I may jerk off afterwards, though. Well I jerk off five times a day. So obviously I will.

Scanner darkly is a great book and good movie.

                      Just keepin it consistent.

                      • Saw the Avengers in IMAX today. Damn. What an amazing movie. This is what all those other Marvel movies were leading up to and the payoff was worth it. I'm sure some of you have seen that it had a monster weekend at the box office as well. I love how superheroes and comic book adaptations sell so well nowadays; the comic industry was in desperate need at one point and now I don't see them going under anytime soon.

As for the movie itself, The Avengers was everything it needed to be; a fun, action filled popcorn flick. Don't go to this movie expecting some sort of deep, complicated plot because you won't get it. What you will get is incredible action and an overall good time if you are in anyway interested in the super hero genre. What I thought was most suprising was the humor; I did not expect to laugh as much as I did during the movie, but nearly every character had some sort of funny dialogue, even the stoic boy scout, Captain America. Of course Robert Downey Jr as Iron Man laid down most of the funny lines, but thats to be expected.

Go see the movie and make sure to stay until the end of the credits because there are two extra scenes. One in the middle of the credits and one at the end. Both are worth the short wait. I have to say the breakout character of this movie was suprisingly the Hulk. I have never been a fan of the Hulk, but Mark Ruffalo did great as Bruce Banner and when he was the big green guy, those were some of the best scenes of the movie.

I for one am looking forward to the next Avengers movie. Hope they start work on it soon.

                        • Avengers was amazing, I agree with you whole-heartedly there. I loved every minute of the movie and I too was quite impressed with Ruffalo (I was quite worried because I thought Norton was amazing in the part).

As for who really gets the credit for how good it is, I would give most of it to Joss Whedon. He used to be known as the "Script Doctor" in Hollywood. They used to bring him in to do uncredited touch-ups on scripts to give them better dialogue. He eventually gave up on them letting him do his own thing, for the most part, and started doing his own thing on his own (starting with all his amazing TV series). He then also did a web-series, which he wrote during the writer's strike.

It took Hollywood a long time to trust him enough to actually use his own scrips as written (Alien Resurrection is a perfect example of that, as they took his script and butchered it), but now they have started to learn better. After his successes this year with both Cabin in the Woods and now The Avengers, I see bright things for him in the future. I can't wait to see what he has coming down the pike.

                          • Finished watching the Tudors. Pretty cool series overall, though sometimes when they had main characters just suddenly disappearing with no mention it got a bit jarring especially if they were a bit more important in the real history. But then it wasn't going for historical accuracy.

Favorite characters were Henry, Cromwell and Sir Francis (Who was one of those that just disappeared with no explanation)

On a superficial note, they could've at least made Henry a bit fatter in his later years, but I guess they were trying to get away from the way he was usually portrayed in movies. Katherine Howard probably should've been a hell of a lot more filled out as well. It was sort of funny when one guy is going on about her voluptuous round ass and the waif playing her had no ass (or tits) at all.

Anyway, I'll definitely be checking out the Borgias when I get the chance.

                            • The Borgias is fun. The actor playing the French King Charles is a ball to watch, as is Jeremy Irons as Rodrigo Borgia/Pope Alexander VI, of course. And Cesare's personal assassin, Micheletto, is pretty badass. It's also fun to watch if you're a fan of Assassin's Creed.

Haven't seen the Tudors. A bit put off by its "chick flick" style marketing, but I'm familiar enough with the era to know some of the historical figures were quite interesting. And Sam Neill as a cardinal is amusing somehow.

                              • I watched the first two seasons of the Tudors and haven't watched a thing since. I own the first three seasons. It spiraled out of control pretty quickly. The actor playing King Henry (I forget his name, seen him in quite a few things) continues to impress me with his inability to portray any emotion or visage other than anger and arrogance. Cant' stand that dude. The TNA kept me going through season 2.
