    Yep, If you stub your toe & swear, The pain relaxes & most likely goes away according to scientists conducting a study on pain & swearing.

    If by some chance you are hammering a nail & you end up smashing your thumb, That's when you swear or don't swear & put it on ice in possibly icy cold water.

    The study proves the swearing would relax the pain faster that it would if you didn't.

    Below is an fictional example that has some humor.

    Child hurts finger while playing with a toy.

    Child: Mommy! I hurt my fucking finger player with thomas the train!

    Mother: Bobby! Watch your language! Let mommy make it better.

    Child: That's OK. It's gone now.

    So remember that if you must swear, do it when in pain.
