If you want your bug or suggestion for improvement to actually have a chance at being fixed or added, then I highly suggest you keep these threads specific. In other words, "A whole bunch of errors" is not something I'm going to want to weed through in the future. If you keep the suggestions and bug reports specific, it will be that much easier for me to scan these in the future. It will also be easier for folks posting new threads to see if something has already been discussed.

SUGGESTION: Add bbcode translation when copying/pasting from MS WORD
BUG REPORT: Image uploads not showing new image after saying upload was successful
SUGGESTION: Allow users to change their ratings on a story

This is common sense to me, but I guess it's not to other folks. This the same technique I use when writing emails. It's easier to scan and will hopefully keep people on topic.
