The 360 has better and more games on it anyway. The PS3 is just an overly expensive blue-ray player. Waste of money really, even more so now that Sony took away its backwards compatibility for the newer models.

Though a Wii probably would've been more popular with any of the ladies you might bring over to your swingin' bachelor pad. For some strange reason girls like the whole interactive bit to it (And all those "cute" Nintendo graphics).

As for the child robots, I'm sure Drums is on a plane trip to Japan as we speak.

The Japanese are also planning a mission to the moon in 2020, the catch is that the spacecraft will be manned entirely by robots (or possibly androids at that point?)

I can't wait until we spawn real AI commensurate to human intelligence. Then we will start to see some truly spectacular things.

I used to think that too, End. But my roommate has one, and he's proven me wrong. It's also great for playing Little Big Planet. And it has an entire virtual world where you can overcustomize an avatar, and then explore an empty world full of people who don't talk to each other! And let's not forget Street Fighter. Now you can have your ass handed to you by a cheap-as-fuck computer AI in stunning graphics. Chun-Li has never been more deformed.

Hahaha. It actually IS a pretty swinging bachelor pad. It's in the ghetto but the interior is nice and there's wood floors and a huge kitchen area.

Almost everyone in the neighborhood is Mexican. The kicker to me moving in was the credit check, or lack thereof.

As far as the Wii goes, I've always thought it was something that might be fun in a drunken group setting. But mostly it comes across as childish to me.

I think the best thing about the PS3 is that Sony didn't rush it on to the market like Microsoft did with some of those early 360s. There's some other cool features BESIDES the PS3's blue-ray capability, but I can't think of any offhand. Wow. They must not be that great. I seem to recall they were really pretty damn cool when I first heard them read off to me tho.

Plus, it's like you said, the games on XBox have (in my humble opinion) always been better. I'm really happy with my purchase and am having a lot of fun with it.

You know what I'm missing right now, tho? Is some kind of new Diablo-style dungeon crawler, in good old fashioned 2d.

                Diablo 3 is in production.

I can't wait, but Blizzard is notoriously slow in producing anything. We've only been waiting 11 years for Starcraft 2.

2D? Meh. Though you saying that reminds me that if you're not playing Mass Effect on the 360, there's probably something wrong with you.

I still hold to the classics like the PS2 and the PS I mean 2D does kick ass for some games and once they started on the 3D like Shadow Man or for PS2 S.L.A.I I mean you got to hand it to the people that brought us someof the best for al the systems that we have

I played as a pro-human renegade Infiltrator. The alien Council was being shitty with me all throughout the game, so I just let them get killed by the robots to pave the way for a more human centric ruling party.

But I wasn't totally xenophobic, I had Wrex with me as my constant follower the entire game since I liked his mercenary attitude and I romanced the blue chick. Let the psychic human guy die though, he was just annoying and I didn't really have any use for him.

Still wondering if Bioware's actually going to follow through with their plan of allowing you to carry your saved character over from game to game.

I've heard lots of good things about Mass Effect. I might pick it up this weekend if my friend who manages a gamestop can get me a good deal on a used copy. She's all talk and no action, though. I might just have to look around.

                        UPDATE:

I got Mass Effect. Pretty cool game. Pretty in depth. I wish there was a multiplayer game like this. I just opted for a boring old soldier to start with. Simple's usually my method.
